About this video
Runtime: 23 minsStephen Mulhall discusses Ludwig Wittgenstein's significance for theology. Ludwig Wittgenstein was a Austrian born British philosopher of logic, mind, math and language. His interest was in the relationship between thought, language and reality. He rejected the idea that language is essentially representation but argued rather that 'language games' form part of reality. Thinking via language is therefore not a private matter but accessible only by taking part in community.
